Ok. Before you proceed to the picture gallery, Fiwishop has acknowledged the fact that sometimes you are uploading pics and you get an error message that says "You were not able to upload that picture" and there is no explanation. Well, what happens is that your picture is bigger than the specified file size. The biggest a picture can be is 500k. One of the most important things you do to save space is save your pics as 'jpeg' or 'jpg.'

What should I do then ? Well...firstly you can resize your pic. Why would you want to do that ? Well, each member is assigned a specified amount of diskspace. For the time being, it's 75Mb. That is ALOT of diskspace for pictures. However, if we see that you are uploading alot of pictures and are nearing the 75Mb, we will promote you to a higher group which will give you more diskspace. |

| Anyhow...back to resizing, if your pics are small, you make better use of your space. So we at Fiwishop have gone through the trouble of searching and finding a free resizing program for you. There are two options. |

| 1. Photo Resizer - This program is relatively easy to use, but when you are resizing pictures that are a closeup of something, like a face for example, when it is resized, it is going to look distorted. However it is easier to use than the second. You can find this program here. You can find a tutorial for this program here. |

| 2. Mihov Image Resizer - This program is harder to use ( in all honesty, the only hard part about this program is being able to find where your pictures are on your hard drive, so if you can do this, like you know they are on C:\Pictures, then its not hard), but it resizes the pictures alot more efficiently and the quality is alot better. Even on closeups the quality is good. You can download this program here. We have provided a tutorial here also. |

| 3. IrfanView Batch Resizer - This program allows you to resize many pictures at the press of a button. If you have hundreds or thousands, or even twenty and want to resize them at once, this nifty program will do it for you. You can download it here. We currently don't have a tutorial for it, but one is in the making. So stay tuned. |

Fiwishop is not forcing you to use these resizers...however, your gallery will not hold as many pictures as you might want it to. Believe it or not, 75Mb can run out. Look at shii's gallery. She has been upgraded to a bigger group. In fact she was upgraded two groups higher. It is suggested that you resize all your pics, but if you cant be bothered, it's ok. All that happens is you just use up more of your diskspace, which reduces the amount of pics you can upload. |

After you have read through all of this and viewed the tutorials, installed & understand how to use your resizer effectively, then you may continue to the gallery. But once you enter, you agree that you have agreed to resize your pics ( not all, but some at least ). To proceed to the picture gallery. Click here.
